The Canada–Bermuda lane is what we do

Bermuda imports nearly everything it uses, and getting cargo there reliably takes a specialist. We move freight from Canada to Bermuda on regular sailings — with more than one departure most weeks through established Bermuda lines — so your shipment always has a dependable place on the water.

Multiple weekly sailings

More than one scheduled departure most weeks to Hamilton — not a one-off booking scramble.

Any size load

From a single pallet combined with other cargo to a full container of your own.

One point of contact

A specialist who knows the lane and answers the phone — not a call-centre queue.

Sailing schedule

Two weekly services to Bermuda. Most cargo moves on our most-used line, Bermuda Container Line.

Transit

About a week to Bermuda; official ETA Monday. Allow roughly one extra day for customs clearance.

How it works

Three simple steps from your door to the island.

01

Tell us, then send your cargo

Contact us first for a shipment reference number, then drop your cargo at our Brampton partner warehouse — or we'll arrange trucking to collect it from you.

02

We combine & clear it

Your goods are combined into a container and we handle the customs paperwork and documentation.

03

It ships to Bermuda

Your shipment sails on the next scheduled service and is ready for collection on the island.

Before you ship — drop-off

Polimex Warehouse · 27 Selby Road, Brampton, ON

  • Tell us first — contact us before sending anything and we'll issue your shipment reference number.
  • Label every piece with that reference number; it's the only way the warehouse can match cargo to your booking.

Cargo that arrives unannounced or unlabelled can't be matched to a shipment — it may sit unidentified and miss the week's sailing. One email ahead saves you a week.

Decades of freight, behind every shipment

Agenor continues the work of A.J. Maritime, a Quebec-based freight house built over decades of moving cargo in and out of Canada. That experience is what you get on every booking — even the small ones.

Our background includes serving as forwarding agent on demanding defence and heavy project cargo — including main battle tank movements inbound from Europe. When freight has to be handled right, we have done it at the highest level.

Frequently asked questions

The short answers to what most Bermuda shippers ask.

Do I need a full container? +

No. We consolidate — send a single pallet or a partial load and we combine it with other Bermuda-bound cargo. Full containers are available too when you have the volume to fill one.

How long does it take? +

About a week. On our most-used service (Bermuda Container Line) cargo sails Friday with an official ETA in Bermuda of Monday; allow roughly one extra day for customs clearance.

When is the cargo cut-off? +

Wednesday end of day for that week's Friday sailing (Thursday morning is sometimes possible). Documents — a commercial invoice, plus a dangerous-goods declaration if applicable — are due by cut-off.

Where do I drop off my cargo? +

At our Ontario partner warehouse — Polimex Warehouse, 27 Selby Road, Brampton. Tell us before you send it so we can expect it and issue your reference number, and label every piece with that number. If you'd rather, we can arrange trucking to collect it from you.

What can I ship? +

Commercial freight, household and personal effects, vehicles, and oversized or project cargo. Dangerous goods can be handled with the proper declaration.

Do you handle customs and paperwork? +

Yes. We prepare and manage the documentation so your shipment clears smoothly on arrival.

How do I get a quote? +

Email your shipment details — origin, what you're shipping, rough size and weight, and the destination in Bermuda — or call us, and we'll come back with a price and a plan.
